Hi, I’m Diza! The woman behind Liyan Java Tour

I started in hospitality at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in 2018, watching thousands of travelers pass through, different cultures, different needs, the same universal look of uncertainty in a foreign country.

Then I became that traveler myself. Working as a cabin crew for one of the biggest airlines in Dubai, I fly around the world, I adapted to new climates, got lost in a foreign country, accidentally walk into tourist traps, and fought jet lag while trying to enjoy every moment.

That excitement when you land somewhere new, but then comes the unfamiliar streets, the time zone math, not knowing who to trust or where to go. I know that feeling intimately. So I built what I wish I had.

After years of working with travelers from every corner of the world, I learned that people don’t all need the same thing. Not just in terms of places to visit but down to the food they’ll love, the things that will quietly frustrate them, the cultural moment that will genuinely move them versus the one that will fall flat. That’s something you learn from years of working in hospitality while paying close attention to people.

And I know Java the way only local can.
